Purchased a guitar many years ago and tried to play now and again with little success, Thought I would have one last attempt and looked for assistance ... Mark's name came up.
After a discussion on the phone he was just the person I was looking for, not only does he teach the guitar and music theory he also writes and plays his own songs ... He is also helping me play some of my own songs which I have written years ago and never had the skills to play.
I have been four times now and can play a song through'ish from start to finish, still developing chords, timing and tweaks to make it more interesting to the ear and working on the lyrics ... early days but great progress.
Mark has a good thorough way of teaching, he does not rush me onto the next song, so I have time to absorb the information, develop the chord shapes and strumming and get them right before moving on.
Looking forward to my next cuppa and progressing the playing.
